Capcom recently announced that they will be porting several older Resident Evil games to the Nintendo Switch. In 2019, you can play the original Resident Evil, Resident Evil 0, or Resident Evil 4 anytime, anywhere. Capcom made the announcement via Twitter.
That’s all of the information that Capcom has shared currently, but they will reveal more details soon. We don’t know if these games are remakes, HD remasters, or ports. We should probably expect that Resident Evil 4 will include motion controls and fewer battery warnings. Resident Evil 0 and the original Resident Evil will probably work really well on Switch. These games will likely be digital only, judging by all of Capcom’s other Switch releases.
Capcom really is changing their opinion on the Switch with Ace Attorney coming to the platform, the Beat-Em-Up Bundle, and several other releases. Is this your 1000th time buying Resident Evil 4? Are you excited to play these games on your Switch? Let us know below in the comments.
