Capcom Bringing Several Resident Evil Games to Switch

Capcom recently announced that they will be porting several older Resident Evil games to the Nintendo Switch. In 2019, you can play the original Resident Evil, Resident Evil 0, or Resident Evil 4 anytime, anywhere. Capcom made the announcement via Twitter.

That’s all of the information that Capcom has shared currently, but they will reveal more details soon. We don’t know if these games are remakes, HD remasters, or ports. We should probably expect that Resident Evil 4 will include motion controls and fewer battery warnings. Resident Evil 0 and the original Resident Evil will probably work really well on Switch. These games will likely be digital only, judging by all of Capcom’s other Switch releases.
