Inventioneers contains a collection of puzzles that have to be solved by creatively building inventions. The game’s interface is intuitive; a bottom panel contains the tools needed for solving a puzzle and a green button starts the action. A “tool” can literally be any object: an ordinary thing, a part of something more complex, or even a small “assistant” character with unique properties. There are numerous combinations of tools and therefore the possibilities are limitless.
Inventioneers is captivatingly entertaining! The graphics are detailed and sound effects realistic. There are plenty of puzzles included in the game, as the full version consists of eight chapters and more than a hundred levels. With the help of a built-in editor, you can create your own puzzles too. The game is child-friendly, helps with learning physics, and develops both creativity and logical thinking. Want to play with friends? It’s possible! The game allows up to four players to work on the same invention, but everyone will need a separate Joy-Con controller. Inventioneers is set to release for Nintendo Switch on March 25th, 2019.
