Tainted Grail: The Fall of Avalon is widely known for being one of the most successful board game Kickstarter campaigns to date, amassing over six million dollars in funds. It’s an immersive tabletop game for 1-4 players filled with beautiful art and storylines. Soon, the physical version of Tainted Grail: The Fall of Avalon will be transformed into a digital RPG game. The Kickstarter was so popular that we’ll be getting two games from this up-and-coming franchise.
The Tainted Grail: The Fall of Avalon video game will be based on Arthurian characters and lore from the board game. It will include exploration and survival in a rich fantasy world, where players engage in challenging battles and diplomatic encounters as they progress. Gameplay footage has not been released yet, but a short teaser trailer can be viewed here. Tainted Grail: The Fall of Avalon will release on Steam, but we shouldn’t expect anything soon since the Kickstarter came to a close just last week. The focus appears to be on the board game version at the moment, but over 40,000 backers gives Tainted Grail: The Fall of Avalon franchise a massive amount of potential.
