The Hearthstone Championship Tour returns this week with its winter event. It will take place at Blizzard Arena Los Angeles and offer a $250,000 prize pool spread amongst 16 of the world’s best Hearthstone players. Participating regions include the Americas, Asia-Pacific, China, and Europe, and each will be represented by four competitors. Everyone is guaranteed to take home at least $7,500, with the top prize being $50,000, but the real prize is a potential spot at the HCT World Championship where the stage is much larger and prize pool in the millions. Four players will advance to this final event taking place in Taipei sometime around spring.
The event starts February 28th at 8:30 AM PST and runs until March 3rd, where the winners will be determined. All matches will be best-of-five with a ban and will be broadcasted live on Twitch at Twitch.tv/playhearthstone. Make sure to tune in and cheer on your favorite players!
