Luigi’s Mansion 3 and Remake for 3DS Announced

Written by Jordan Lucero on September 15th, 2018.

Luigi’s back from the dead! In Thursday’s Nintendo Direct, Nintendo announced right away that an all new Luigi’s Mansion game is coming in 2019, and a Nintendo 3DS remake of the original will launch on October 12th with extra features. First, we’ll talk about the 3DS remake. Nintendo announced that local co-op will be featured. If both players have the game you can explore the whole mansion together, or instead use Download Play to battle different bosses if the other player doesn’t own a copy. The Luigi’s Mansion remake is now available for pre-order at $39.99.

If you aren’t interested in the 3DS, you should be happy to hear that Nintendo released a trailer for a brand-new Luigi’s Mansion game launching in 2019. The game looks incredible in HD, and it appears Luigi has some new moves as well. It also doesn’t look like a mansion in the teaser, but we’ll have to see once they reveal more information. Are you excited for Luigi’s Mansion 3? What do you think the game will be like? Let us know below in the comments.
